I started my practice in Anaesthesia at various Hospitals in Madurai from 1997.
2008 was my grand success with my hard work and patient’s response in opening my own hospital MODERN MULTI SPECIALITY HOSPITAL a rental building at Villapuram.
My hard work and smile in patients face pulled me up in opening my new Hospital at my own Building in the banner of BLUE MODERN HOSPITAL IN 2015 FEBRUARY with an ISO 9001:2015 Certification for Providing Medical and Surgical Treatment.
I am awarded by the collector of Madurai for Serving to BURN PATIENTS.
I also got additional and Intensive training in Tertiary obstetric care from Fernandez Hospital From Hyderabad.
In spite of all the above criteria my satisfaction towards my patients is only smile and speed recovery.

VASCULAR SURGERY
I, Dr. D.N. Sharmila Suresh D.G.O., M.S (Gen.Surgery)., M.Ch (Vascular Surgery)., one of the six lady vascular surgeon throughout India and the first lady vascular surgeon in south TamilNadu.
Having successfully graduated from the TN Dr. MGR Medical University winning the Gold medal, I am practicing vascular surgery for the past six years and had settled at my home town Madurai, Tamilnadu since three years.
I am in Govt service and working at Govt Rajaji Hospital, Madurai and also primary consultant at Blue Modern Hospital, Munichalai road Madurai.
I have vast experience in the treatment of Varicose veins including the latest endovenous laser and Radio frequency ablation, Chronic non healing foot ulcers, Haemodialysis access procedures Arteovenous malformation management, Bypass surgeries and emergency Trauma cases and Acute limb ischaemia cases.
Blue Modern Hospital has a team of senior anaesthetist, experienced staffs with good Theater facility, ICU set up and Ventilator support. I have treated complicated vascular cases referred from Ramnad, Sivakasi, Srivilliputhur, Rajapalayam, Theni, Dindigul and from other near by districts. We use latest technologies and provide innovative solutions with good results and high patient satisfaction.
Our aim is to create awareness among targeted group of peoples such as police people, Bus conductors, Shop keepers, regarding Vascular problems such as varicose veins and arterial occlusive disease as a consequence of smoking and atherosclerosis and educate them regarding foot care and life style especially in diabetic patients.
PSYCHIATRY
I, Dr. S. Vidhya M.D (Psychiatrist)., of Blue Modern Hospital, one of the few handpicked female Psychiatrist, in Madurai.
I did my Graduation from PSG IMS&R Coimbatore and passed with distinction ranking-2nd in college and did my Master degree in Psychiatry from Madurai Medical College, the second highest in TamilNadu with distinction, ranking 1st in college.
I have immense training in treating common and severe mental illness both outpatient and inpatients services and special training in Electroconvulsive therapy. I have hand on experience in Family and Marital therapy and counseling sessions.
My field of interests are Psychotherapy and Marital counseling and treating Neurotic illness like Anxiety, Phobias, Panic attaches & OCD. My assets are my communication skills, client friendly approach and empathetic patient listening with a wholesome approach for both the patients and their families.
I have experience in dealing with Child and adolescent problems both academic and behavior, I have my own team of clinical, psychologist, speech therapist and occupational therapist dealing with Rehabilitation services. I have expertise in Consultant liaison services treating mental illness related to medical and surgical diseases.
We run Specialty clinic in our hospital including suicide prevention clinic, child guidance clinic, substance use disorders, women mental health clinic, adolescent counseling offering special, and specific services to these population groups under my guidance.
